When the Mauldin family sits down to dinner at a restaurant, with the now associated spouses, significant others and five grandchildren, it does not look like a typical family. And when everyone starts to call the gentleman at the end of the table "Dad" it raises a few questioning eyebrows around the room. John Mouldin has seven children, five of whom are adopted and as he told me, I have two Asians, two blacks, a blond, a brunette and a redhead." John is a financial writer with five best-selling books and an online letter with close to a million readers. He also grew up on Fort Worth.
