Kate Stevens and Halden Conner are pictured with their son William Brooks Conner surrounding the instrument that brought them together. Kate is Australian and a professional pianist who graduated from Adelaide University, received her Masters from TCU and is ABD from Manhattan School of Music. During the 12 years she lived in New York City she was privileged to play in many prestigious venues, both in the US and internationally including Lincoln Center, collaborated with many fine artists including Dawn Upshaw and Peter Sellars and has enjoyed playing many concerts in the DFW area with outstanding artists including Ava Pine, John Burton and Martha Walvoord. Halden is a healthcare entrepreneur who has been involved in the Fort Worth arts and civic scene for many years and is a lifelong singer whose opera career brought he and Kate together. Will is graduating soon from The Kinderplatz of Fine Arts and looks forward to entering kindergarten in the fall.
